Hi Beloved Friend,
As many of you are aware, our team made our way to the UFDC Doll Convention in Bellevue, Washington, for a heartfelt luncheon to pay tribute to our cherished friend, Jonathan Green. The pain of losing Jonathan last December was unlike anything I've ever felt. It was the collective embrace of our community, and the strength we found in one another during the event that brought a glimmer of healing. Tomorrow, we're extending that tribute virtually across all our Facebook pages and on YouTube. There's also a Raggedy Ann Fundraiser and a special "Friends Forever" paper doll awaiting you. All details are available in this blog.
I feel the need to pause here and share something vital: I genuinely believe that each of us in the doll community would rather spend hours, days even, sitting beside you, lending an ear, being there for you, than ever have to witness a tribute about your life's journey cut short. Please understand, Dear One, that your existence is invaluable. Life has its relentless waves, and at times, it might feel overwhelming. Understandably, many challenges we face seem insurmountable and out of our hands, but it's not on you to decipher everything all by yourself.
Though we've faced countless changes as a community, one unchanging constant remains - the immense, unyielding love we hold for you.
You are never a failure. Your life has immense value. The fact that you persevere, day in and day out, means the world. Remember, you've always been, and will always be, in our hearts.
With all my love,
Rachel
